To be eligible for
Associate Membership in the Society, an applicant is required to:
- Have graduated from an accredited Master’s Degree Program in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing, be working toward ANCC and State Board of Nursing Certification as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Nurse and documentation of graduation for review by the Society’s Membership Committee; or,
- Be enrolled in an accredited Master’s Degree Program in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing and submit a letter of enrollment from the Program Director for review by the Society’s Membership Committee;
- Submit an application, letter and a copy of RN license along with a check for the prorated dues (contact membership for amount)
- Maintain professional registered nurse licensed status;
- Thereafter remit $50 yearly dues payable online or by check by Dec. 31st of each year until change of status to Clinical Member has been achieved.
