To be eligible for
Friends of the Society Membership, an applicant is required to:
- Be an individual or organization who is interested in Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nursing and whose interests are consistent with the mission and goals of our organization. Friends of the Society are expected to make a significant contribution to the Society. Friends of the Society are added to our electronic mailing list in order to stay current on what the Society is involved with and how they may become involved. Friends are welcome to attend our quarterly meetings and our continuing education programs, but are not allowed the right to vote, hold elected office, or serve as an elected member of a committee. They may serve as an unofficial member of a committee. The Membership Committee reviews and acts upon all applications for admission as Friends, and notifies the Board of all new Friends admitted to the Society.
